Examination & Evaluation Structure

At Genius Grammar School, assessment is designed as a comprehensive, continuous, and child-centric process that nurtures academic excellence, critical thinking, and confident expression. Our structured evaluation system ensures holistic development while maintaining rigorous academic standards across all levels.

Continuous & Comprehensive Assessment

The academic year is systematically structured with:

Four Formative Assessments (FA) to monitor continuous learning progress

Two Summative Assessments (SA) to evaluate cumulative academic achievement

These assessments are carefully aligned with curriculum objectives and learning outcomes.

Chapter-Wise & Practice Assessments

To reinforce conceptual clarity and ensure consistent academic engagement:

Regular chapter-wise tests are conducted immediately after the completion of each chapter for all standards.

Primary classes participate in frequent practice tests, aimed at strengthening foundational skills and building academic confidence.

Pre-Primary classes are assessed through activity-based evaluations, fostering experiential learning, creativity, and joyful engagement rather than conventional testing.

Genius Competitive Track Evaluation Tests (GCTET)

A distinctive hallmark of our assessment framework is the Genius Competitive Track Evaluation Tests (GCTET)-an innovative and rare evaluation model.

The competitive track syllabus is an in-depth, advanced extension of the regular academic syllabus, meticulously framed from the prescribed textbooks.

These assessments prepare students for higher-order thinking, competitive aptitude, analytical reasoning, and academic excellence beyond conventional benchmarks.

Viva Voce - Reflective & Responsive Assessment

To further enrich the evaluation process:

Viva Voce sessions are conducted after every Competitive Track Evaluation Test (CTE).

These sessions are led by the Apex Heads of the Organization, including the Correspondent and Principals.

The objective is to assess student's reflexive thinking, spontaneous response, conceptual understanding, and verbal articulation, ensuring well-rounded intellectual development.

Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) Meetings

We strongly believe in collaborative academic growth. Hence:

Structured Parent-Teacher Meetings are conducted post-examinations.

These interactions provide a detailed review of each student's academic performance, strengths, areas of improvement, and future learning strategies.

At Genius Grammar School, assessment is not merely a measure of performance--it is a pathway to excellence, confidence, and lifelong learning.
